Why Coffee House DTS?

Our desire is to equip students to live out their faith through coffee, using it as a tool for ministry. ​​During the DTS, you’ll grow in your personal relationship and intimacy with the Trinitarian God as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as well as gain hands-on experience in customer service, event management, business leadership, and evangelism - all with a heart to share the gospel.

What you'll learn...

Know God 
LECTURE PHASE (16 WEEKS)

Join students from around the world for 4 months of classroom and hands-on learning. Each week, explore God's character, strengthen your relationship with Him, and discover how He empowers you to fulfill your purpose.
​This phase combines our Coffee House ministrywith the traditional DTS curriculum. In addition to the usual teachings, you’ll receive 5 weeks of in-depth coffee training, learning how to run a coffee ministry and evangelize in a coffee house setting.

Make God Known
OUTREACH PHASE (11 WEEKS)

In the Outreach Phase, you’ll apply what you’ve learned during the Lecture Phase in real-world settings.
Past outreach locations include Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Turkish-speaking nations.
You’ll support long-term workers, usually at a church or YWAM base, through evangelism, service, teaching, and prayer, building relationships and sharing the gospel, including through coffee ministry.

Debrief
FINAL PHASE (2 WEEK)

After completing the Outreach Phase, you’ll return to Budapest for a time of debriefing. This is an opportunity to share your experiences, reflect on your entire DTS journey, and process what God has done in and through you. You’ll also have the chance to prepare for your return home, consider applying for a summer internship with Selah Coffee House, or other opportunities YWAM offers, continuing to grow and serve in the heart of ministry.

What you'll experience...

Accomodation

You’ll live in a community, sharing cooking and cleaning tasks in a live/learn environment.

Local Ministry

You'll have the chance to serve in YWAM Budapest’s Homeless Ministry (Sandwich Run), street evangelism, take shifts at Selah Coffee House, join Prayer Walks, and participate in Friday Night music ministry (Night of Life).

Cost:
The Coffee House DTS is a 7 month program with a monthly tuition of €1,250. 
This covers your accommodation, meals, local transport, travel to and from outreach locations -
